Hi there, my ZZR250 needs to be upgraded and its probably not worth trading
in (runs ok, but fairing crappy and fork possibly stuffed). Any idea where
I can exchange it for some cash to go towards my next bike?
    Cheers

    P.S. I am in Melbourne

    Sell it on EBay.

If you're set on upgrading from a dealer, run it past them; it's a
    common tactic to offer a half-decent trade-in to shift a bike that's
been sitting in their showroom for a while.

Alternately, pull it to bits and put it on Ebay, piece by piece.

If it's registered, put it on E-bay. In Vic you still get inflated
prices on 250cc bikes due to the L/P requirement. I suspect that the
value has dropped a bit in the other states that have power-to-weight
    LAMS restrictions.

My wife's GPX250 in a similar condition (rough fairing and probably
slightly bent front wheel) still fetched $2600 a few months ago.
