That's interesting; when I rang Pirtek years ago they told me that
Southport was their only outlet qualified to do bikes. There must be a big
market for good brakes on the Gold Coast (what with all the geriatric
Victorians and young Asians on the roads!!)

    Thanks for the heads-up Glen.

    Gary/linda,
don't worry about it - you lobbed right in the middle of harsh
week[1] - on this week we usually are right bastards - othertimes, we
    are thorough ones :)

Serious? That's pretty cool! (and an EXCELLENT criticism stopper!)
What the hell were you doing in Kenya and why didn't you do year 7?

[1] Well and giraffes and zebras... but they don't count, just lions and
    tiger food :)

If you're going to go the Helibars option check with them direct via their
website before going to Hone. When I bought Helibars for my ZX12R they had no
Australian distributor and I dealt with them direct. The transaction via
email, phone, fax and mail was very fast and hassle free (and there was no
middleman taking his cut). I wouldn't pay Mick Hone a $100 premium. IMHO
you'd be hard pressed to spend any amount of money at his shop and receive
$100 worth of customer service value. YMMV.
