I had a little go on Champ's a while back, and while I will concede
that it goes like greased buggery, and handles like a dream, I just
couldn't get on with the ergonomics.

It felt like I was sitting on the headstock, and everytime I touched
the brakes, I thought I would fall off the front. I did try sitting as
far back as possible, and that helped, a bit.

Simply put, I'm not Gixxer Thou shaped.

The Blackbird, in comparison, is wonderful. If it had the gixxer's go,
and handling, it'd be brilliant. Then again, it's no slouch.

Yes indeed. I used to jig bore barrels to match the pistons. IE get a worn
set of of +20 thou pistons. Turn them down to say +13 or untill they where
clean, then jig bore the barrels to match the pistons. IE 2 thou clearance
or whatever.
