Assuming the battery is under the seat; how do you get the seat off?

IIRC there's a pull handle under the rear seat which is accessible once
the rear seat is off. You pull that backwards and the front seat
unclips. If not then it's one of those where you have to lift the rear
corner of the seat and there's cap head screws underneath.

    Thanks to both of you.

Looks like the battery is as dead as one of those dead things.

You sure the battery is under the seat? Istr it's under the RHS panel.
    Might be wrong mind you.

It's under the rider's seat and only accessible once that seat is off.

I've got a spare which I'm charging up now. Should be ready to fire it
    up later this afternoon.

Ayup, we're coming to France in late July early August, staying near
Caen & then the Vendee, anywhere near you if you fancy a 'formidable'?

I'm sure we can arrange something.

The w/e after the 8/8/8 is out though, as I've got a wedding in Germany
    to go to.
