I have a smaller Renntec rack fitted to my customized B12. It has a single
helmet sized Givi box/plate fitted. I've had a full set of camping gear
sufeed in and around it. No problems. I'd say all the limitations are in the
strength of the plastic tail section, if it so attaches. The Bandit item is
    bolted into the subframe.

Some subframes buckle under the strain. Early Hayabusas had Al ones that
were replaced by steel and early versions of my bike have "check rear
subframe" as a pop-up on the MOT tester's checklist. Apparently, fitting a
Givi base plate & full E48 box onto the rear rack can cause problems. Hence
why I have a Givi Monorack on my bike, bolted to the pannier rail mounting
    points.
