    It wouldn't go astray on GSXR1000 track bikes then!
    Though TBF highsides, much as they fucking hurt, do provide considerable
    amusement for spectators.

    I don't know how well this would work at reducing the chance of a
    highside because the back wasn't that far out that a highside was
    probable. Pete's told me he's had the TC cut in when he's been
    experimenting with it on gravelly bits of road in a straight line, and
    he reports that the engine just slows a bit til the tyre grips again.
    It's smooth and unobtrusive, not like snapping the throttle shut.
