Z400 selling for £4.5k?

    .... badly.

    It's all bulgy round the sides in the pics. At a guess, it became
    brittle and split in storage, but it still lets the bike down and looks
    dreadful.

    Jeez ... _HOW_ many bids? Are they mentalists or what?

    They were, IMHO, a crap bike when new. Getting old wouldn't change my
    opinion of them much or make them any more desirable.

  5. The early ones were bad news. By the time they got to the Custom G
    model, with the improved engine and six-speed box, they were sorted and
    actually very pleasant commuters and small tourers.

    But paying £4.5k for this one is insane. That would buy you the best 400
    triple in the world and £1500 change.
