I know - 9 months now, making it the 2nd-longest-running job I've had
since moving to London in '98.

My longest job at one place was 7 years, but I actually had 4 different
job titles and worked on about 30 different customer sites over that
period, so I guess it was like having 30 different jobs.

I've only changed jobs once, within the same department, that was about
a year ago.

I'm probably going to go back to something a bit like my old job again
soon as this one is starting to become boring now I've run out of things
to fix...

I worked for a given company over a period of 8-9 years, but I took 18
months off in the middle of that to work for someone else, and then
came back on the equivalent of a 80% pay rise.
