As Bear confirms there will be no return is someone else going to take this
over or does it die with him?

    I have a prime nominee.

Given the nature of the beast I would think that it dies with him.

On several occasions, for other lists, Bear has opposed new KotLs taking
over when the original leaves ukrm, for whatever reason.

Shame, really, cos I've always fancied a YTC# and if somebody else took over
they might hand them out like sweeties; as happened with the two#s.

Never hankered meself. I always felt that the YTC was an award for
spontaneity so looking for one was the wrong thing to do.

I reckon that not giving me SBS0# is a diabolical liberty though.

Tradition is that if the KOTL goes, then so does the list.

    He's going to top himself?

Surely that's a bit extreme despite UKRM taking the piss.

Even if Bear's not playing, surely you can share the nomination?

traditionally it dies with the KotL, unless the KotL explicitly passes
it on to someone else upon leaving.

That's a shame. I was working on an FBC. Although stoppies on an ETZ
are ok, the Supa 5 is proving an altogether tougher nut to crack.

Naah, that was discussed, and deemed to be dead, a long while back.

Good job too, as I _might_ have got one at some point, which would no
doubt have been rescinded after my shite performance at the EOSM...

Mat Tab was keeper of the FBC numbers as I recall, it'd be a bit
difficult to get him to pass it on now.

Yeah, the crowd were eagerly waiting and you didn't even bring a guitar,
let alone sing any of the classics they were waiting for. FFS, how are
we supposed to believe you're really Rick Parfitt now?
