Speaking of road tax, this new thingy where you get automatically fined for
out of date tax. Instead of fining you couldn't they just print out a 6
month tax disc and send you it then everyone is happy. Sure, you would have
a tax disc you didn't pay for a while but they will get the money eventually
(I assume if you don't pay the fine you get a kicking, don't see why they
can't just send a disc with the same result for non-payment).

 

FFS, I'm sure if you search properly you'll find some good recipes on
the web.

Insurance sounds good. You are just being silly with the MOT. It just
seems daft setting up an automatic system to fine someone for not having
bought something. Admittedly I'd forgot about the insurance/MOT requirement
but they'll be doing a similar fine for those soon so best just to tie it all
up in one system now
