Youth culture - perhaps

Ever met a group of goths...I suppose the technical term for a group of
goths would be and argument. We only seem to come together when
threatened by chavs, and all typically have our own individual styles
within "gothic"

 

Do you? On a day-to-day basis? While shopping for groceries? Etc?

 

Oh the diversity of what you can do with hairspray, black lipstick and
a bucketload of white emulsion.

 

If you're going to subscribe to a subculture, you're best off with one
that passed its use-by date 20 years ago.

I wore dress shirts, desert boots and a cardigan in my youth. Or a
dinner jacket and an M&S jumper depending on my mood.

I can't actually recall if anyone else did.

I know I do.

Shame those that wear tight jeans in the UK are getting past it now. All
that promise from behind, then they turn around and dazzle you with their
medallion & fake tanned, prune like skin. Eurgh.

Not especially. I do observe people and this particular element of
youth culture I could not work out.

You want to come and enjoy the building workers rush to work. All those
nice East European chaps wandering about - summertime was a dreadful
distraction. Thank god there's no ventilation on the tube ;-)
