    NORTHUMBRIA
    No bike targeted enforcement operations.

As usual, MCN get it wrong:
    http://ww1.northumbria.police.uk/ePolicing/web/wms.nsf/AllContentDocs/NWS019161?OpenDocument

Cornering clinics, and the "Weekender" operation:
"The clinics are backed by Northumbria's Weekender operation which began
in April and will run for six months in Northumberland Area Command,
which uses a combination of education and enforcement to promote rider
    safety."

  5. And this:
    http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/News/newsresults/mcn/2007/May/may7tomay14/may0707asbosforbikers/

"Strathclyde Police has issued a statement headed: “Police warn ASBO
bikers.” The force’s Chief Inspector Jim Igoe said: “There is no excuse
for those who ride carelessly or exceed the speed limit and who cause
nuisance and annoyance to other people. Under Anti-Social Behaviour
Order (ASBO) legislation those caught speeding or distressing members of
the public will face a formal written warning, which is recorded for 12
months. Should the driver commit a similar offence within the 12-month
period their bike will be confiscated and they will be reported to the
    Procurator Fiscal.”

The force said powers to take the action were set out in Section 127 of
the Antisocial Behaviour etc. (Scotland) Act 2004. Forces south of the
border have said similar action will be taken using powers set out in
the Police Reform Act 2002. Dyfed Powys police said the action could be
“classed in the same way” as an ASBO “because it’s to do with antisocial
    behaviour”."

Cunts, utter cunts; in fact, 'cunts' doesn't begin to describe my
feelings about shit-headed toerags who usurp the law to their own ends
    this way.

Teach a man to fish and he and his pikey mates will have the
river cleaned out in a day.

Glad I don't commute to Basingstoke from Portsmouth anymore, then.
The A3/Selbourne/Alton way was the best ride. I learnt a long time
ago not to use the A32 for recreational riding...

    A272 Winchester to Petersfield;

Shit, that road rocks :-( Then again they've just surfaced dressed the 6
miles or so outside Petersfield, so it's a sodding gravelly ice rink at the
    moment.

They're on Harley's and have tassles hanging off the brake and clutch
    levers.
