For painting iron railings wot're going rusty (not hinge) it's
wonderful. Especially if it's the sort of rusty that would severely
compromise the structure were it to be removed.

No such luck, the Sealey 50L. It was also 10 dB quieter than the old
    'WolfAir' cheapo one.

I'l give it a whirl next week ...

    Cheers

    Paul.

  12. It'll be fine for the majority of stuff you need it for anyway. It's
just that it tends to cycle more than a lager tank.
Yep, the noise ratings are a bit suss. On the Northern Tools site, the
noise of mine was quoted at 78dBA; on arrival, the otherwise fairly
useless Italian bumph says it's actually 93dBA. A fuckoff huge
difference on paper and in actuality. Funnily enough, it's not as bad as
    all that.

Yebbut, it's a horrible thought. 600 gallons of fizzy yellow liquid on
tracks, with a big gnu poking out the front, rumbling through town shouting
its head off & vomiting all over the place on a Saturday night ? Nightmare.

Reminds me of the sign outside the pub in Uxbridge. "Fosters Larger £2/pint."

    Harm yer, right?
I painted the wheels of my Lard Roller with cream (non-hammer, right?)
    and they were fine innit.
