  1. When the "Tingewick Two" got time this seems a little sick, really:

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/southern_counties/4585701.stm

Woman three times over limit hits bike head on whilst on wrong side of
road. Biker loses arm and now - three years later - they give up trying
to save his leg and amputate it.

What did she get? A two year ban, and 100 hours community service.

She got her licence back before they'd even decided that they couldn't
    save the poor bastard's leg.

  5. My daughter was on a crossing, our accident reconstruction[1]
successfully proved that matey went through on a red. FFS the other
witnesses who said they saw her cross also said their lights were
green, meaning his should have been red. There was no prosecution, not
even a caution issued. I know he didn't do it deliberately but he
failed to pay attention and caused an accident.

The offence committed and prosecution bear no relation to the injuries
    of the poor victim.

Guy who pulled across me only got 6 points and £1500 fine. **** all.

If you want to kill someone, running them down is the best way.

If they're riding a motorcycle, it's open season.

Dozy bint who did me in was charged and the constables were quite
sure it was a cut and dried case seeing as she had admitted liability
at the scene. CPS failed to prosecute. "It's just a motorcyclist".
