You did it again

Funny, that, because when I read about the proposal to buy off the
Afghan chieftains to keep the buggers quiet, I immediately thought of
Kipling too:

Kipling really said it all, a hundred years ago. Shame nobody today
reads him.

 

People keep on thinking that he makes exceedingly good cakes.

While all the idiots were braying about it on Question time last night, and
there were some *incredibly* stupid people in the audience, nobody thought
to say NORN IRON. It's exactly what was done with the Shinners rather than
hunting them down and exterminating every last man woman and child.
