Just fitted a Powerbronze Fly Screen to my naked bandit, wow what a
difference, just went for a wizz and I can go along at 80 without my head
    being ripped off... neat eh?

So much more enjoyable on the faster roads.

Indeed, I fitted a new fly screen to the Sportster last week and today I
    tried it out. Excellent improvement.
I didn't think you had tried that yet.

Cheeky git, tried it on the A127 up to about 80mph (had visions of it
pissing off over my head) and all was well, still bloody cold though
tonight, I'll give it proper go tomorrow maybe.

  5. I had a fly screen on my old B6, which as you say made quite a
difference. However, on my new B12, again unfaired, I don't feel the
need - hanging on at an indicated 100+ didn't feel that bad. Must
just have got used to it; alternatively, the clocks on the post-2000
models are more streamlined-looking, so maybe that's it.

  6. Just out of interest (I have no access to google groups) what did you
end up paying for the K3?

  7. £5K OTR. 2 weeks later I saw them advertised for £4,700. Such is
    life.
