Well, that's a very good point. I do actually quite like driving a
car - not as much as a bike, obviously, but I'm not sure I'd subscribe
    to "cars are boring".

They're fun to drive, and very forgiving. You must have a pole of the
    Platybus sometime.

I don't think there's a GM badge on it, but there should be one that says
"SAAB". Used to stand for "Svenska Aeroplan Aktiebolaget", but I think
they've recently changed it to Saab AB. You grumpy old sod.
You've moved to sheltered accomodation? I knew you were getting on a bit,
    but...
So it'll be an Audi A3, then?

I'll have to see if I can organise a site meeting somewhere in the direction
of the Arctic Circle, to give me an excuse.
I'm fully operational, to all intents and purposes. Just got to build the
strength up a bit more, and lose this weight.

Before the accident, I'd been going to the gym and stuff, and I was about
    thirteen and a half stone. I've had a three-month layoff, and I'm a stone
heavier. And xmas is almost upon us. So, still some work to do.

Leotards, leg-warmers, step aerobics to The Best of The BeeGees, relaxing
with a glass of warm carrot juice in the aromatherapy sauna afterwards...

What is? Selling Wales by the pound?

Not with a Grade 3. Towelling sweat-band, in a sort of pastel cerise to go
    with the leg-warmers.

Kilo. You're not allowed to sell by the pound any more.

As any retail manager could tell you, as he fired you for making the
    attempt.

  20. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
I'd just park it and look at it. There's something about that styling -
maybe it was the first supercar I was aware of in my youth - but it's
    just so evocative.
