The bloke who now owns that very car is a regular poster on
    www.briskoda.net.
He has yet to get it on a rolling road to see what the output is , but it
has the K03 turbo as fitted to the 180 bhp model rather than the K04 of the
    225.

Of course what it had in it at the time is open to debate.

It's a very minor bit of bodywork, and everyone seems to get shrill about
it. The basic concept is so good that Honda is making a copy.

Champ secured a place in history by writing:
My employers, in their infinite wisdom, have decided to offer me nothing in
return for giving up my £6k car allowance [1]. Cunts. As are you lot for
even thinking it appropriate to discuss all this company car crap at my
    dining table.

[1] The 90 day consultation on this proposal may see some climb down. The
mood is a little militant, to say the least [2]

[2] This on top of closure of Final Salary Pension scheme, increased
working week, reduced sick pay, reduced notice period, reduced private
    health-care..... [3]

[3] Anyone looking for a good, experienced IT Manager (Project, Resource,
Budget)? I might know someone who could be interested....

The point is that I thought the discussion was around managing the
staff in a large scale retail operation, not running a veg stall down
    the market.

Decontenting the package. Are they about to go down the tubes or something,
or just looking to offload their best people without paying them redundancy?
    Bear?

It's cold and dark outside. Stop being obtuse and just make your
    point. Oh, I know - "It's really a vauxhall". Well, I don't care.
It's got a Saab motor, saab 'sports' suspension, saab interior. Does
    me.
Better - withering looks of ageing residents.
    Hmm. Maybe I'm confusing things. I wouldn't want a 300bhp V8 - much
too expensive to run. I thought there was a 'hot' A4 that was more
    normal.

Anyway, that article criticises the car for having no personality.
For me, personality is something I look for in my friends, not my
    motor vehicles.
Hmmm. I'm not sure I want something *that* big.

It does annoy me that 'premium' brands seem to think there's something
downmarket about hatchbacks, and only offer saloons or estates. For
me, a hatch is the best of all worlds.

Crikey - I had no idea Skyline's were so affordable. Pity they've got
    shit load space :)
    Coo. Ta.
Nah. Don' want to spend that much, don't want that much horsepower
(cos of the running costs, and potential reliability issues).

    Thanks for the info, tho.

The name 'Skyline' covers a multitude of sins. Personally, if it's a pre
R33 model, I'm not all that keen on them.
