    Yeah.

The thing is it's been a surprisingly good car and represents good VFM
as vauxhalls depreciate quite a lot in the first 3 yrs then hold level,
I expected to have broken it by now but the only thing to have failed in
nearly 4 yrs abuse is a headlight bulb.

I was thinking of buying it when the lease runs out, but as I say it's
had 4 years of abuse and I tend to wear mechanical things out in that
    timeframe.

I'd quite like to try 2.0 turbo coupe version if I buy one, they look
    like fun.

I'd run an Estelle out of pure spite.

At 19 I used to wear Oxfam cardigans to "prove a point". It must be said
the point has slipped my mind somewhat.

Did you watch Top Gear when they tested one of those on their track
(probably not considering where you are)...

It was a shambles.. the Smart didn't even make it round the corner :)

Not as funny as when they tried to parallel park the BAR F1 car.

  18. And allegedly, the Alfa Romeo 164. My favourite wiggly snake of all
time. 3.0V6 Lusso, in manual. Had one for three weeks.

I wouldn't want to upset Steve H, on the floorpan thing like, so if
    I'm wrong, I won't argue with him.

Funny thing this evening. Not ten minutes ago, the dealer I bought it orf,
three-plus years ago, phoned up to see if I was interested in selling it, as
they've got lots of people looking for them secondhand...

Alfa 164 / Fiat Croma / Lancia Thema and Saab 9000 were all designed to
use the 'type 4' platform. The Fiat and Lancia are almost the same car
(although you could get the Lancia with a Ferrari engine) with the Alfa
being more 'customised' for the brand and Saab making the biggest
    changes.
