And don't forget, there are plenty of McDonalds that need staff.

I wouldn't want the second one hung on the wall, it's a bit too geeky
and lacks the humour of the first.

Why do you bother participating in threads about culture or religion?

See this ^ Mr Ogden?. That's what your newsreader does. It doesn't indent
any of your posts whe "reply" is hit. Every other newsreader does, just not
yours, so when you harp on about me not quoting properly, look closer to
    home.

And I deliberately didn't bother adding any indents, coz it's not my job to
    sort your posts out.

By the time you're viewing his reply, it's too late. The damage is done
when his reader fails to quote correctly. Which is my fault, apparently.

    Ho ho.

I'm not entirely convinced we don't get the 99.9% of the history
    graduates too though.

Kinda what I meant. 99.9% of IT employees seem to not have done IT
    qualifications.

    So far.

I'm currently out of date on industry certifications though, so might
have to go refresh them for a few weeks, if/when the bad train comes
    along.

    Sure.

And now I've escaped the point where anyone would expect me to have
    any qualifications anyway.

Just the same as media/film/TV courses. Of course, it's not helped by
the small problem of the people teaching these courses being idiots who
teach because they're too incompetent to actually do the job in the real
    world.
The arrogance of both academia and academic art. Again, it's the same in
the film/TV courses - Jean-Luc Goddard, good; everyone else, shit.

What's really sad is that anyone on the film/TV course can learn in a
couple of months of being a runner more than they'll learn in three
years on a course ... unless they want to be a film/TV critic, anyway.
    Now that's a bit stupid.
Unfortunately, this argument simply doesn't stand up to logic. There are
millions of paintings that aren't remotely original - hell, over quarter
of the British gallery is nothing but paintings of Jesus and Mary,
another quarter is simple portraits - but it's all art.
To quote Mel Brookes on philosophy: Oh, you're a bullshit artist.

Being able to spout meaningless bollocks to justify something pointless
does not make you an original thinker and, therefore, an artist. A
politician, possibly, but not an artist.
