Looks like Yates might do a one off ride at the final BSB meeting at
Donington. Perhaps he should stick around and do next year as well ;-)

Incidentally, very sad to see Cadwell Park has claimed another victim.
It's a wonderful circuit but they've got to do something about safety.
    Every year it damages someone.

    And get well soon Kagayama.

    A facinating proposition,

I think Yates riding style will go down well with the BSB fans. But I
think Shakey without the championship to think of, and John Reynolds
and the rest having a point to prove I suspect Yates is jumping into a
    Vipers nest.
Makes you wonder why Mladin hasn't put his name forward as he always
protests he's always had a bum deal and could take on the world (I can
    hear Rossi's knee's trembling)

Take Gobert's couple of rides on the Virgin R7 a couple of years back,
If I remember correctly he was beaten by some of the privateers.

Though to be honest the thing I most look forward to is the list of
excuses that Mark N gives when Yates gets whipped........or me eaing
    humble pie )

There's only one Donington race this year so I think it's on the full GP
circuit. Donington rewards classic style through 2/3 of the circuit and
big balls for Craner Curves and Schwantz. So I really don't know if his
    style will suit it.

I've read this somewhere. Hmmm, what team is he gonna be riding for?
Is he gonna get Kagayama's bike? BTW, get well soon Kagy.

Anyways, if Aaron does go to BSB be sure to stop in and say hi; he's
one of the friendliest racers you could meet.

Looks like Yates might do a one off ride at the final BSB meeting at
    That was predictable wasn't it.

Mladin is a big fish in his pond, and he would have little chance of
remaining on the same platform coming to the UK with so many factory,
and factory supported teams competing with some of the best riders in
    the world.

It seems in the US Suzuki is dominant due to lack of comittment from
other manufacturers. To my knowlege no ex WSB F02's or Full factory
Kawasaki or(Edwards spec) Honda's only importer spec machines are in
AMA being as their all over this side of the pond in BSB. Leaving
Mladin the best in a field of 2. B Boz is fair to say one of the top 5
Superbike riders in the world on a competitive bike (on the right
tires) and he doesn't seem to be doing much on the US spec SP2.

To say that the Rizla Suzuki is not competative is not really valid as
Reynolds is second in the championship in a year that the Cresent
Suzuki has been handicaped by injury to both riders, remember Reynolds
missed round 1 and rode with a broken collar bone at Thruxton.
Kagayama had 2 silly DNF's and 2 DNS, so could easily be running third
in the championship at tracks he'd never seen before, but for a bit of
better luck. Oh and they didn't do to bad against the WSB boys at
Silverstone or Brands in the hands of 2 different riders.

I would love to see Yikes! come to 'Blighty' and mix it with the Best
of British. But where he finishes will be a fairly accurate reflection
of the standings of both championships......and I want to hear no
    excuses on either side )

'Fudgie' (oh how original)thinks that maybe, but we'll never know
unless he gets his ass out of good old US of A for the first time
since he got spanked and sacked from the GP's in what '92? when IIRC
Chandler was having some respectable rides on the same machine.
Does a true racer ride for the competition and the glory, not for the
    paypacket?
Wasn't there a certain privateer ROC Yamaha rider around the same time
putting an old YZR on the front row and getting regular top 5
finishes....what was his name? Hodgeford, Hodgkins.....no Hodgeson
thats it!and he lost all grip of reality with....... US Honda doesn't get the
'02 WSB leftovers, that's true, because they got
    Honda's 03 spec,"said to be as good as Edwards'"....come on thats a
crock and we all know it. And when you say 'left overs' are they the
same left overs that were dominating the WORLD last year. Not a bunch
of streetbikes with kit parts bolted to them. The same 3 year old left
overs in the hands of Chile is still winning at WSB. The same left
overs that beat the WORLD at Brands Hatch?
The same left overs that lapped Donington faster than Rossi could last
    year?
Get real, these 'left overs are the cream of Superbikes, that the
manufactures choose to put to best use in the best championship and
not to let them fester in an unimportant backwater somewhere.

If they are the best VTR's in the world, why are they getting whipped
by a hotted upstreetbike when Edwards's apparently lesser machine was
beating all but 1 Ducati last year in the WORLD??? so either Duhamel,
Roberts and B Boz aren't doing their job properly or they ain't the
    same spec.

How come Mladin got shamed by the WORLD superbike regulars on his home
circuit on his all conquering Suzuki but the same WSB regulars got
shamed by Byrne and Reynolds at Brands? and don't quote qualifying,
    cos qualifying isn't racing!

Why did Mladin who says he's desperate to show his worth on the WORLD
stage give up so easily? could it be "if I can't win I wont play"?
When the racings in Britain it's home advantage but when it's on your
home ground it all goes quite when things don't turn out as you hoped.

How can a championship with no Ducati running at the front call itself
WORLD class? when in your own words the Ducati's have such an unfair
advantage in the WORLD championship? Where are they? How can a second
rate WSB rider come into your championship and make waves when Gobert
could not, could it be Gobert's got slow in the little pond.

The reason I put WORLD is because there is actually one out there, and
the delightful thing about a WORLD championship is that teams from
around the WORLD can strut their stuff in front of the whole damn
WORLD, not strut round in an introverted circle suckin their own
    cocks.

If Mladin and Yates etc and are so good, bring it on! come and get out
of the little pond and see how hard the big boys can play.
