I see they've fucked their chances of staying mechanially reliable by
taking on a well known sponsor:

Could have been worse. Imagine BMW, or anything remotely connected

FIAT used to have an anti-corrosion warranty, it is alleged. Testing
allegedly went like this:

Put an inspection light behind the bodywork: if the light is visible
through the panel - it passes.
If you can read the wattage of the bulb - well, it fails.
