Yamaha XVS1300 VStar

    Provided the finance comes through (and my lovely and always competent
    employer actually processes the paperwork correctly to give me the
    overdue payrise that will pay for it!), I'll be buying one of these
    beauties in about 2 or 3 weeks time.

    The finance looks like it should be right, I just need the bumbling
    bureaucrats who do my pay to do their job properly! If all goes well
    from here, I'm looking at some time around the end of next week.
    However, if they screw it up (I've already spent half an hour on the
    phone trying to sort out their latest effort), then I'll probably miss
    the boat - it's free-on-road this month only, and otherwise it pushes
    the budget just that bit further than I'm prepared to go.
