Yamaha dealer in Herts or thereabouts?

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Topper.Doggle, Aug 6, 2007.

  1. Hello,

I'm looking for a dealer as per the subject. Tried Lloyd Cooper who
apparently do Kwaks, they recommended Moores of Apsley, but Moores
don't pick the phone up so I'm assuming they are no Moore. Preferably
Herts / London but will travel for a competent service department that
    won't fleece me.

I know there's Rex Judd in West Hampstead, but 50 quid per half-hour
of labour? Seems a lot of dosh.

Flitwick Motorcycles are Yamaha aren't they? They're not a million miles
    from Herts.

I do believe you are right. I know they do Triumph but I am fairly
sure I have seem Yamaha bikes there too. Someone who lives nearer and
owns one may be along shortly.

They do Yamaha. They have a very fine reputation and should the need
arise, are located less than 100m from the station.

  8. Just far enough for Timo to get home, should he buy a bike off them.

As an ex-employee of their's I can highly recommend Flitwick
Motorcycles. I've been around bike worshops in a number of roles for
many years, and they have to be about the most particular about
everything they do that I have ever experienced. If it's not
absolutely right, it won't go out of the door.
