  2. Got one of those years ago. Waste of time. Whoever starts always wins,
by putting the first counter in the middle hole in the middle board.

WADR, bollocks. Moving first is a huge advantage, but it's possible to move
    second and still win[1].

Suppose it depends on your opponent's strategy, really.

[1] If you opponent hasn't taken bottom centre, then take it, if they have
take one of the corners and work from there. This should stop them
dictating your moves up to the point where you tragically lose.

maybe I won't bother with it then. I'm 40% through Jak & Dexter now,
and I'll be going onto XIII after that, for sure.

Well, that's the PC version. It's mildly entertaining, but annoyingly easy,
    worth a quick go.

    Heh, nice.

I got a dual-channel controller for my Gerbing heated gloves, a bloody
great big book of "The World's Fastest Bikes" which is rather nice, Robert
Harris' "Pompeii", a very nice Italian silk tie all the way from Firenze,
Donny Darko on DVD, "Driven" on DVD (nice SFX), some dark-chocolate coated
espresso beans, oh, and a filty, stinking, snot-filled head cold.

  19. I've thought about getting J&D, but it looked too similar to
Ratchet and Clank (which was cool).

One of the games was "Need for Speed, Underground". entertaining
car racing game, but geared *so* toward the MaxPower crowd is
very entertaining. Full-on customization options; skirts, neons,
the lot. I think it's entertaining in a "know your enemy", post
ironic fashion; others probably think it's cool from the "I get this
car and stuff" kind of way...
