Xmas Day - Sydney region - Info on whats open -Wollombi way

Did a car boot run to Broke on Saturday..coupla wineries... feasted at Cow Cafe (Mt Broke Wines http://www.mtbrokewines.com.au/)
highly recommend the food (gaspacho with lemonmint sorbetmmmmm)...Jo and Phil enthusiastic on wines, food and visitors. oh and the
dogs feature in http://www.winedogs.com/ Ask to see a copy..amusing read.

Note that the Kulnura servo and Marys Gourmet Kitchen will be OPEN on Xmas day.

Really good selection of food...not a typical servo cafe.

So where is Kulnura ??

It;s along the Wollombi road from Mangrove Mountain, the last 'civilisation" before the long run to Daytona/Wollombi. They have
premium.


The Kulnara servo/cafe is on the right (NOT the general store at the intersection) with all the wooden benches (some new) out the
front. Seem to be making an effort to attract trade and they do a great job.

Oh, yes indeed....

But, assuming Max doesn't go daft and open Mt.White on Christmas day,
I'd rather just go up there on a BYO basis, as per the last few years.

Streuth! Mt White's a bit short for a Christmas Day run! Then again, you may have the little legs on or on a short leash.

Probably I'll be using the 8" wheels....

No, the trouble is, Chrissie Day, the freeway fills up real quick, then
you get the overflow onto the Old Road..... :-(

Hence, I try to be homeward bound by 10.30 or so.
