Conehead isn't as famous as our Clem.

Yeah, quite right. I'm deeper than I am wide. Clem's widely spread, but
    shallow.

  10. I'll check with Reg the Phish. Is there a difference between it and the 84
    ?

    Cheers

Is this head you're after off an XL250S or XL250RC? Difference was the auto
timing chain tensioner, but not sure if this was a different head. I thought
all the tming gear changes were down below, rather than the head. I think
    both models were 4-Valve.
Main difference between the S & RC model was the RC was the first with
mono-shock, and most of the S models were white or silver or a combo. I
think most of the RC's were red or white.

I think the 84 model was the XLX250RE, which went for the RFVC(radial four
    valve combustion head).

I may have an XL250RC head, but I'd have to look at it to see if it's okay.
I'm also in outback QLD, so find out if you can get one from somewhere
    closer first.

    Cheers,
