This is the latest X Box Game. One of our Kids wants it. I thought I
was going early to Best Buy this morning. But when I got there, the lot
was empty. They sold all 38 of them in 30 minutes. The sales folks were
outside as customers pulled up, asking''If you are here for the X Box
360, they are are sold''. Same over at our two Walmarts.

The Dallas TV stations said folks were camped out as early as Sunday
evening, that means they were there all night Sunday, all day Monday and
Monday night. Shoot, I couldn't compete with those XBox Horney people.

Here's the kicker, Walmart, and Best Buy both didnt have very many, and
are not sure they'll get many more, between now and Christmas, What(?),
Bill Gates cannot make enough $399 game sets, where every kid can get
    one, what the hell.

Albert, I guess microsoft is gonna treat the newest X Box, like Yamaha
does those FJR motobikes. Make folks want one real bad, but have to wait
months to get em'. Odd to me.

Oh yeah the news said eBay folks were advertising the X Box 360, as
    much as
$1,000 to $3,000, can you believe any nut would pay that, well, I guess
    the rich nuts will, huh.

This is just a game, why advertise them, and not produce enough. Shoot,
why didnt they start making em' 9 dern months ago.
Gonna' be a lotta disappointed kiddos.
    (BJAY)!.

What's all the responding about then ? hmmm.. And why are you getting
involved ? LOL Looks to me like some people want one, but they want it for
a lot less .Nothing wrong with that.. everyone likes to buy a bargain,
including me.. Suggesting that he give it away or go down on his price is
pretty gamey.. He offered it to a guy that was bitching because he couldn't
put his hands on one for his grandkid or something..

When he offered it .. he has also explained that he had it listed on ebay
and other for sale forums.. Should have ended right there.. Obviously you
aren't interested.. and it wasn't offered to you ..

I like this place Bill and I think I will put down some roots here.
Bill you know very well I didn't do that. As a matter of fact I
supported him getting whatever the market will bear for the item. That
is just plain Capitalism and I am a free enterpriser all the way.

As for me, no I don't want one and if I had one I would probably give
it away to child for Christmas. Making a few hundred dollars profit on
one item wouldn't alter my standard of living. Might be more important
to you or your son. Now if I had a hundred of them, that would be a
    different story.
You also know Bjay wasn't bitching. He made the decision to wait until
the retail stores had more in stock. Considering the buggy nature of
the first release that is probably a wise choice.
Brian and I were talking, civilly for a change, about the bugs that
are still in this first release of the item. I don't believe I ever
expressed an interest in buying it.

That's a good thing.. Open forum.. free to anyone .. Not controlled or
moderated by anyone or any small group.. A lot of real good and very real
people on this group.. What I like most about it, the forum is open to
whatever anyone has on their mind..
Yep.. there are quite a few for salers who post on this group.. Some are
motorcyclists and some aren't.. Occasionally the group gets flooded with
spammers and it gets a bit crowded.. Others in the group usually make it
clear that the non-motorcyclist spammers aren't well received.. I've
defended a few for salers and criticized a few spammers.. Brian isn't a
spammer .. He buys and sells on ebay quite a bit and offers an especially
good deal on this newsgroup, occasionally.. I gues it is profitable to him
    to do that..

He was also treated like shit when he offered a deal to one of the
contributors to this newsgroup.. As it were.. that contributor posted that
he was in the market for the item Brian had to offer.. No spam and no
pressure to buy.. You saw it and read it just like we all did.. Those
responses were uncalled for and sleazy.. They were designed to try and make
an ass out of Brian.. They succeeded in making an ass out of the one
    responding in that manner..

Probably .. a good deal of misunderstanding was also involved.. If I
misunderstood your responses, I do apologize.. As for the other crap that
was responding, there was absolutely no misunderstanding .. The intent of
that poster has been clear for a very long time..
No matter... I don't even know what the damn thing is.. It wouldn't make any
difference to me what it is or what it does. It doesn't make any difference
to me that it was my son who was involved.. I've been known to help level
the playing field whenever something like this happens to anyone.. Some of
the contributors on here have known me for years .. On and off this
newsgroup. can certainly vouch for that..
I'd say so, depending on how much he wanted to put his hands on the thing
before Christmas.. Bjay could have politely declined Brian's offer as well
as Brian's private communication with him.. That should have been the end of
it, with no controversy.. Bjay contributed to the controversy, for sure..
That's true.. I've already extended an apology to you, in the event that I
misunderstood .. Accept it or not..

No need to apologize Bill, I think we are both clear on what we said.
I disagree with you on Bjays intent but you are free to interpret it
    however you choose.

Nah.. You've been a bedwetter from childhoohd..
Look around you Nurick.. It's all yours.. Has it occurred to you that there
is a good reason your infantile rants about this issue hasn't produced a
landslide of anti-Walker responses to support your juvenile attacks.?

Here's a clue.. First of all .. there is no evidence that children .. needy
or otherwise were in any of those lines all night to buy a freakin' toy that
only a few even know what it is..

Secondly.. It is most obvious that you have no idea or concept of a needy
child.. A needy child is certainly not one that is gong to be crushed
because there isn't one of these magic boxes sitting in front of him
Christmas morning.. A needy child is the one that goes to bed hungry
Christmas eve and wakes up Christmas morning, hungrily looking for something
to eat and a warm coat to wear when he or she goes out to scrounge for it..
A needy child is a lot of things and we have many of them amongst us..

Most of those in the lines to buy that freaking $400.00 toy all night were
people like you, Nurick.. Chances are, most were buying that thing for their
own entertainment and a child had nothing to do with the purchase.. Lack of
clothes, food and sometimes a roof over their heads..Parents that are
working their lives away to provide that food and shelter for those kids
aren't concerned with some kind of expensive electronic toy for their
children, Nurick.. They are concerned with putting on clothes on those kids
backs, paying for their medications that many of those kids need and a toy
is the furthest thought from their minds..

Those are needy kids that should and hopefully will be helped during this
coming Christmas season and all this bleating, trying to insult and weak
kneed attacks against someone .. would cause them to sneer at you in
    disgust..

In conclusion.. a usenet worm like you can't attack my honor, Nurick..
    especially on a newsgroup.
