Every fifteenth weekend, you have to give me seven days notice, and
promise to have it back by six PM.

And you have to take it to the zoo.

Not to worry you or anything, but I wonder how available front
suspension bushes/bearings will be for that once they start to go.

It isn't that difficult to dismantle the front swingarm, thus
lubricating them is fairly easy - much easier than a rear swingarm on a
    "normal" bike.

  11. Are they ball, roller, needle, or rubber bearings/bushes?

Thing is, I'm wondering if they'd be replaceable with industry standard
components once Yam stops making bits for that.

It's the front suspension that gets me hot, and the Omega chassis. The rest
    of it's pretty tedious.

Well, you /could/ have mentioned fuel injection, ABS, brilliant handling,
    terrific engine, enormous weight...
    Better than the Blingmobile? <gobsmacked>

Oh yeah. Fuel injection. No ABS on this one. Handling... It needs a firm
hand to tip it in, and shakes its head a bit on fast tight corners. I
need to play with the suspenders.
Oddly, yes. For me at least. I get head-buffet on the BlingMobile, no
matter how I adjust the screen. With the GTS, I got none. How it
performs in terms of keeping weather off remains to be seen.

    I've heard they're quite sensitive to tyre condition/wear/pressures. I've
also heard that a committed rider can get the front swingarm down...
Coo, that's a bit good. One of the problems with the Trophy was the
buffetting - not so bad for me, but Sarah found it scarily violent. If she
had her head in the straight-ahead position, there was a lot of vibes and
she felt like it was going to snap her head to one side or the other. If
she looked to the side, it would snap her head round to full lock. Most of
the time, she'd cower down behind me.

WUN could also have mentioned the shortest stopping distance of any
    motorsickle as measured by "Rider" magazine;

"When we finally downloaded the computer, it spit out a long series of
numbers, the result of our numerous "set-up" runs from 60 mph. One
    hundred five, 87, 87, 89, 90, 88, 87, 87, 89, 89 feet. We'd never seen
numbers like these before in any car or bike magazine".
