Of all the people on this planet, why you should choose Gerry to be a friend

of my friends - people you don't know - as some kind of misguided 'revenge'
upon Gerry. At his express invitation, you say. You do realise, I suppose,
that you CAN decline an invitation? I've done it myself. I certainly
wouldn't be creating merry hell amongst a group of innocent strangers as
revenge for trouble within my own 'community', for want of a better word.

I suppose a mindset like that - 'you've made my life here uncomfortable, so
I'm going to go and bomb a bunch of your people who I don't even know' -
could be construed as a bit militaristic, and perhaps that's why I don't
understand it and can't find myself cosying up to it. It smacks of starting

a braver person than I will ever be. He doesn't care what people think, and
he stands up to be counted, even when his views are unpopular. I admire that
even when I don't agree with those views. I often just walk away from a
stoush, simply because I hate conflict and the squirmy feelings it
engenders. Whether that makes me lazy, a chicken or merely a peacelover is
open to debate, I suppose.

No! I am afraid that is not true, Betty. I don't want, nor desire, revenge
on Gerry. I just want him to stop his shenanigans in the flight sim group.
What you have seen in this NG over the past six or seven days, is just a
tiny sample of what we have suffered, for eighteen months, in the flight sim
group. And I am afraid it is all down to your friend. We have tried all
manner of things, even pleading with him to stop, but he just fed on us,
laughed in our faces, and brought more and more shit down on us at every
opportunity.

He got so confident and cocky in his posts, in our group, that he put out a
challenge, which he has already admitted to, elsewhere in this thread. The
challenge was, "If any of you wankers think you have the balls to take me on
in aus.motorcycles, be my guest. You wont last more than a couple of hours,
the members there will chew your balls off and feed them to the chooks", or
words very similar. We have lost a number of very good friends/members from
our group who just got fed up with all the shit going down. So I decided to
take up Gerry's challenge, simply to move the shit out of our group onto his
land.

OK, you and some of your friends have been hurt and pissed off with all
this, sorry, I apologize, I knew this would happen. But, as I've said
before, we've had this shit for eighteen months. I would leave NOW, if your
friend would end his ceaseless pointless campaign in the flight sim group.

As I've already said, Betty, it is not revenge. Gerry has done exactly in
our group, what you so abhor. He attacks anyone, mercilessly, who try to

All I've done is moved the battle field.

I don't see anything wrong in the qualities you have mentioned above. It's
