That's my name and my regimental number. But I was not born in
Germany. I have never been to Germany. The guy who got killed was
one of the others with the same surname. I never knew any of them.

I joined up on 2 Oct 1967. The "historian" got it wrong - again.

I returned home on a medevac C-130, in April 69. On 27 October, 1969,
I was on a Halvorsen cruiser on the Hawkesbury river on my honeymoon,
IIRC. Contrary to what my ex-wife might say, I did not die on my
honeymoon. The "historian" got it wrong - again.

If, the official historian is incorrect, as you claim and you will not
believe what he says, then how the **** would you believe what I or anyone

After all, I was only a sapper, someone who knows nothing, nothing like a
historian at all.

Another thing Gerry, birth certificates are very easy to obtain, same goes
with a drivers licence even with your own photo on it, much easier.
Just ask anyone in Lakemba Liverpool or Bankstown.

known living relatives, therefore, no check could be made?
