Wtd: Soft luggage

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by mike. buckley, Jun 22, 2007.

  1. Well I've got no luggage for Chimay yet, despite a few fruitless bids
for stuff on ebay it all looks a bit overpriced.

    <hopeful>

Anybody got any soft luggage they no longer want? Really after a pair
of panniers and a tailpack. Thanks

I've got a Cargo expanding tailpack (actually two I think) you can
borrow if you're really stuck - Dorset area. We do want them back though.

I think it's one of these (no idea about the shop - it's just the best
    piccy I could find):

I've got some oxford soft panniers that I no longer use.

They're in my garage in St. Neots.

    Any good to you ?

Got a pair of yellow Oxford Sports panniers of indeterminate vintage
cluttering up the garage, if they're of any use.

I think I have an unwanted (an visually challenging) FT tailpack which
    I don't use - I'll have a look later.

  7. None of my bags are waterproof, which means fucking about with bin
liners. If nobody has anything suitable I'll just stump up the cash,
get something on ebay and flog it again when I get back, or I could make
some half hearted promise to do more touring and leave the luggage in
the loft for a couple of years. Which is why I sold my last luggage and
am now in this position :-(

  8. Thanks for the offer, really looking for something to buy, postage
either way would probably be more than any loss I make making a short
    term ebay purchase.

  9. Yup - do they have waterproof covers still? How much?

Might be after two sets as the bloke I'm coming down with hasn't got any
luggage either, he's waiting to get outbid on a local set.

Statto - same for you - cheers

So you can park on double yellow lines and not be noticed?

Don't think so, I can have a look over the weekend. I don't need them,
it just didn't seem right to throw them out so assuming you're
    collecting / UR delivery.. gratis.

Mine came with the Zephyr I bought from Jayne and Andria. I now have
black panniers, tail pack and tank bags.

I bet he is, too. I've got some yellow gloves. Very good ones,
actually, but just a bit, erm, yellow. They were cheap.

    Doesn't work for pink custard.

Krusty would be OK on his Tiger, though.
