I'm in urgent need of a pair of 7/8" custom stlye bars similar in style to
those fitted to Yamaha XV or Dragstars or Guzzi Cali. They need to be about
34" wide, and have a 5-7" rise. You used to be able to get this style of
bars from just about anywhere but unless you have a Harley with 1" dia bars,
the availability is limited at best.
I'll be *damned* if I'm paying Yamaha £77 (!) for a genuine pair of XV bars.
Anyone got an old pair kicking around for cash?
    Thanks.

I have just the thing sitting in my garage, ex-SR250 Yamaha custom
    thingy bars.

Free to a good home such as yours, because Bear says you're a fruitloop
[1] and because I've done this to the bike:

It now sports mx/enduro bars, in keeping with the new flat-track style.
Fuel tank is away at the painters as I type, being painted in a classic
    Yamaha design from the 70s.

I will post more photos when all is finished.

[1] in the nicest possible way, of course.

Cute. Needs a matt black open reverse cone mega on it though. The front drum
brake fills me with *serious* fear.
Do use a fucking good oil if you use the top end of the rev range though. I
had an XT250 with the kick start version of that engine. Toffee camshaft and
scrap heads are a way of life it seems.

Yellow with black blocks and white bits?

    Please do.

<G> Ask him about the trike :>)
