    It's my Dad's 60th in a few weeks and I can't think of a suitably shite
present so have struck on the idea of a Trabant (he has a penchant for crap
cars, having pissed my mum off over the last nearly-40 years with a
succession of R4s and other assorted sellotape and bean-can held together
    concoctions...)

So if anyone knows where I can buy a roadworthy, MoT'd, reasonably priced
Trabby then please let me know at dnk dot haines at btopenworld dot com.

PS. As a substitute, I'll accept, with the same roadworthiness preferences,
a decent but strange R4 variant (like some sort of weird half-van thing like
you see in rural France that's designed for transporting only one type of
    pig or something...)

  4. Seem to be non-existant on Ebay, but you could start here:
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2432631930&category=9886

and give him a new part for Chirstmas and birthday every
year...wouldn't take *too* long to collect the lot, there can't be
that many parts on a Trabbi!
