You might find this forum useful http://www.ukgser.com/forums/

Lots of advice about all those important accessories that most GS owners
seem to bolt onto their bikes.

Apart from luggage mine is bog standard.

I've made quite a few friends there and they organise weekends away,
rideouts and trips abroad in the UKRM DFV style.

*you* are surely not going to tell me that the thought hadn't occurred
    to you?

I'm sure I saw a link on here some time ago on this very topic.

    Coo, ta.
Luggage is likely to be next big purchase; I /like/ the pukka Adventure
ally items, but baulk a little at the £1k asking price...
    Excellent. Ta, matey.

  8. Nice one Wik. You will need Alex to show you how to bounce off
GSXR1000's and light the back tyre up on those mountain hairpins...

I'm surprised at that. And not a little disappointed in you, fella.
Yeah, I would - but I can't be arsed, and can't work search engines.

You utter bastard. I thought I was only one on here with a GSA. At least
it's a different colour to my one.

Seriously, I think you will really enjoy it. You are certainly suited to it.

I see you have the engine bars and the larger tank. Did you also go for the
    heated grips and the ABS?

There are loads of things you can do to improve it but I would recommend you
change the tyres to Tourances when those ones you have on there wear down.

    Best of luck with it.

Yep. Seemed the right thing to do, like.
Mmm, the Michelins are ok, but I've heard several good things about the
Metzlers, so will prolly give them a go.

What sort of milage can one expect?
    Thanks, mate.

But, of course the question should have been "would you mind telling me
