    Utterly bonkers, as usual.

    Ah nuts, was that today?

I'd been meaning to go down this year, what with having some winter
    transport an' that.

Aye, solos today, quads & outfits yesterday.
It was a good 'un this year. The weather was great, which is *most*
unusual, and there were a few big names including Pastrana & Everts.

Yep, blow-up dolls, Scooby Doo outfits, silly hats, broken bones,
people who really should be honest with themselves about their fitness
level etc etc. Oh, and lots of sand.

Slightly damp sand is a brilliant surface to race on, spoilt only by
stones, other people, fitness, man made obstacles, and people
who fail to understand the spirit of such races. Are they running
restrictions on tread patterns this year?

It didn't look too brilliant once the 3' deep ruts appeared! There was
nothing on the regs about tyres so I think anything goes.
