can anyone tell me about the race?
<<<can anyone tell me about the race? Yeap, mission done Bayliss is back and leads the Championship, impressive been away 3 years and right on the pace.Love the guy push push push 100% why Ducati never *burnt* him, a true Champion If he he remaind in SBK he would have beaten the Foggy records. Just wait till they give him another 10HP, it handles/steers well but lacks a bit of grunt esp. on the long straights and out of the curves Lanzi is lucky to be walking, had a *big-1" in race 1.
well the Japanese Suzuki rider would have won the 1st race except for Haga taking him out on the last lap. It was a good race with both the Japanese dominating until Haga tried an inside pass and put it over too far and the bike slid out and took out the Suzuki rider as well.
"WOULD HAVE" "IF ONLY" yadayadayada..... 2 well worn useless sayings.... *If only* Ducati and Bridgestone had not entered MotoGP Rossi would have won over 60 GP races by now..... HERE is a new [old] saying for you "To finish first you must first finish" Looks like a Troy -v- Troy Championship [Forza Ducati] won the 1st race except for Haga
see: www.mcnews.com.au reports on each race. My spin after reading these reports, and not actually seeing the races: Troy Corser wins my acclaim. Back in the early days, I reckon that Foggy had the wood on him; even last year I read him more as a front runner than a combatant. Seems that in the second race this may not be so. It also contradicts the way he could reasonably be expected to perform as he aged. Go Troy - Go Suzi. Pity about not being able to watch on free to air TV. Anyone out there got a good contact in SBS TV.; they have taken on some sporting events that others are not bothering with; and it would fit in with their Speedweek program. Perhaps the marketers recognise that the tight arses that won't pay to watch the race on pay TV, are unlikely to support the advertisers needed to sponser the program? Rockit
Only this time its actually accurate. There was less than half a lap to go, Kagyama was in front of Haga, and that pair were most of a second clear of Toseland in 3rd. One of those two would definitelty have won the race had Haga not lost the front while trying to get inside Kagyama and taken him out. big
Well put it this way, I didnt want the Japanese riders to win the race so there is no bias in my comments. Also if Baylis was in the lead and Haga did the same thing to him can you imagine the whining that would come out of a certain party ?
