Yes, I send it to NASA every 6 weeks and they sync it perfectly to
1400 different satellites, the gravitational pull of the moon and the
    rotation of the earth.

There But for the Grace of God go I.

8:30 ish this morning I was on the ZRX making progress down the M1, a
subaru imprezza and I kept taking it in turns to lead every few mins, we
were both doing around the 100 mark.

Then the subaru *really* slowed down, I hadn't twigged why and went past
on the inside to find myself just to the left of a plain silver Skoda
VRS, with and a stealth mobile disco in the back..

Thankfully just at that moment someone in a vectra went by in lane 3,
doing about 110. Seems he ordered the disco.

Thanks Vectra man, you're a star.

Heh. I did once see a trafplod whizz out from a herd of trucks and nab
a Porsche 911 which was doing 90 in the overtaking lane. Ignoring my
tatty old Citroen. I'd been about to flash me headlights at him for
    holding me up...
<cough> (to make him aware of my presence, that is, of course)

  10. Well of course, but do try and use the terms "lane 2" and up - overtaking
    lane is so naff.

At least he didn't say "fast lane".

Rich B banged the rocks together and they said :
There are no lane 2 or lane 3. They're both overtaking lanes.

    So the police say.

And since they give out tickets, I'll say "yes sir" and agree with them.

I think it was helped by the fact I was stuck in traffic coming up to
the junction and highly hindered by the at least 108 I saw on the
    clock.

I saw 108 and was still significantly behind Andy and debated whether
    to nail it.

    decided against.

looked back. saw blue flashing lights.
