    When we finally stopped and discovered that he had in fact broken down,
    we all reckoned it was his fauilt for not flagging us down. he looked
    happy gabbing away into his mobile, so we left him at it.

    I mean, it's not as if BMWs break down often, is it?

    (And we fixed his bike for him at the hotel)
