... of DLR running trains all the way to Lewisham, right, when I wanna
    get off at Mudchute, innit?

Then all you get is "we're not adequately funded". well, **** 'em,
    that's what I say.

  5. so you're saying your train ran non stop from Crossharbour to Lewisham
what? They've got more money at DLR than they know what to do with.

This was a driverless train, right? Maybe they've done a service pack
    upgrade.

    It certainly seemed like it.

One minute I'm changing trains at Westferry, next thing I'm being
    rudely awakened at Lewisham.

    Disgraceful, it was.

    Possibly. I couldn't possibly comment.

I had a very pleasant evening, as it 'appens; I now know all I'll ever
need to know about muons and bozos, and stuff.

It appears that I have developed an allergy towards alcohol, mind. I
guess, long term, this can only be a good thing.

Should save money on take away curries, for a start.[1]

On the up-side, it appears that the Blackbird passed its MOT.

[1] bought with the money I'd "saved" by getting the DLR home rather
than a taxi. It's currently sat in a frying pan, warming up for
breakfast. By the time I got home, it was cold.

Done that. The fare to my place is about 60 quid. Would have been
equally costly, and less time-consuming to have got the cab from
    Central London.
