I have to shove some exhausts onto ebay ASAP (gethering duct ATM) - any
suggestions on how they should be packaged for postage? A load of bubble
wrap and brown paper? Obviously I'd want to eliminate/minimise the risks
of any harm coming to the items in transit.

  4. This may explain the postage:

    Post to: Worldwide
    Item location: BRUNEI, Brunei Darussalam

Apparently all recent sales of NOS LC pipes have gone for over 500 quid.

    Madness.

Wouldn't be for an XJ600 (Non Divvy) would they?

Very nice. I know a Yamaha dealer who has two brand new sets of 4L0
pipes sitting in the loft above his spares department. I wonder if I can
lob him 50 quid for the lot, he might well be pleased to see the back of
    them.

When I was sent some exhausts there were in a box just larger than the
pipes. Each pipe was bubble wrapped and the spaces between them was
filled with air pockets (large bubble wrap 6" by 2" I think)

They were really overpacked for rusty, dented MX pipes but appreciated
    the effort from the seller.

I think I paid £35 for a new pair to fit to my 250LC as it was much
cheaper than buying Microns or Allspeeds after Stanley Stephens had a
play with my barrels and head.

IIRC, Tillston's were knocking out new 350LCs for £675 on the road to
make way for the YPVS, and CB750F2s for only a few quid more.

  10. That's exactly what I used recently. With lots and lots of parcel tape.
