    Nope. Nor in France.
Didn't know you could get it there, TBH. We've still got a reasonable
supply brought over from the UK on our last trip, when we loaded up
the Volvo full of English stuff, including beer, cheese, salad cream,
branstons and very much more. And decent bed and bath linen from John
Lewis. Somehow these foreigners don't seem to be able to produce the
    same sort of quality.

Basel, on business. I can take temporary custody if you like. (You
prolly didn't realise, but we work in the same team).

Couple of points you may find of interest - Manor do a perfectly
acceptable mild-ish cheddar at normal prices and there's an 'English'
shop in Basel now that imports all the above items (plus real bacon
etc.) with the exception of the bangers, which he gets made up locally
to his authentic recipe. Not cheap, but good quality.

Let me know if you want owt, or mebbe pop over for a beer one of these
    evenings?

Hand-on-heart, I can only recommend this to Bob if he's aware that he
will inevitably be supping brandy, whisky, vodka, gin or absinthe in
    the wee small hours.

At least, that's what's ending up happening every time I've had a beer
    with you.

    Brilliant!

    No. Thought not :)
Heh. This is Basel - most pubs will be closed by 2am during the week,
it's true. Except for the clubs and the girlie bars, of course. Not
that I've ever been out in girlie bars until five in the morning, no
    way, no how, no sir.
Heh. There's always the floor of our studio flat.

    miss Cadburys chocolate & parsnips.
Basel. as Bruce as mentioned I work in the same team as him.
I normally stay in the Radisson. close to town for beer.
    just me.
I will when its confirmed. if you remember stuff in the mean time you
can always email me to or replace spam
    with Adie from the headers.

Wow. I've not seen them anywhere around here, even in Globus. Some
French supermarkets have them occasionally, but they're round about
the 1Eu/tin mark, and I still have a couple of tins in the cellar, so
    I've never been tempted.
If they're reasonably priced, then yes please. Having said that, I'm
fairly sure the aforementioned English Shop will have them anyway, but
it'd be interesting to compare prices.
