    Manthrax.

Prolly summat French I've brought back and is in the process of
developing, but by heck, I feel remarkably shite. Cold, shivering cold,
despite sitting in the sun for 20 minutes (it's ~25C here) wearing a
sweatshirt and thick comfy joggers. I've got goosebumps, vague all-over
aches a sore throat and a swimming head. Awful bloaty feeling around
the stomach too, despite it being pretty empty.

    Meh!

you've not been drinking bottled water from a certain gentleman of
middle-eastern extraction in London, have you?

  3. Did you get bitten? Any ticks fall out of your shirts when you got home?
    It could even be heatstroke...
I managed to contract Lyme Disease from a tick bite I got in a German
forest a few years back. Ugh.
    GWS!

Two months on and my voice still hasn't fully recovered.

The flu symptoms only lasted a week or so, fortunately. Then everything
    else kicked in.

    I think you're poorly.

Last time I shivered in an overheated conservatory it turned out I had
campylobacter food poisoning and a temp of 104f. That said, you'd know
whether you had that or not from the emanations.

Don't be too proud to call a doctor if you're feeling really shite.

  7. Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, Pip
Could very well be, given the state of that Froggish recovery van.

Sounds like the DTs - how much did you drink last weekend?

Not enough for the DTs, for sure. I've got a pretty high DT threshold.
It may have something to do with that Ruby Leffe, now I think of it.

I think you're right. That's the first time I've ever cooked a family
dinner, served it up and done a runner for peace and quiet - without
    eating.
No emanations at all, atm. The bloat holds promise, but I'd expect abdo
cramps as well. Must find a thermometer ;-)
Damn right. Undertaker by morning, I reckon. Best change me grundies.

  20. It sounds like you have got the lurgi that has been doing the rounds for
months. It takes months to clear and disguises itself as a cold, goes
dormant and then comes back as feeling shit, sore throat / lost voice,
nausea etc. It's bloody horrible and loads of people at work have had
    it.
