I've been trying to get hold of Simes for the last fortnight.
I last got an email from him while he was on holiday on the 2nd, saying he'd
be back on Tues 4th Oct, and would post me some bits for the old Rangie he
    sold me.

Heard nothing since. No reply to emails on three different addresses. House
phone just rings, and cell phone is "temporarily unavailable"

    Anyone in Northamptonshire?

Simes, Simes? You've got to use a car that doesn't have a catalytic
converter. And make sure the gap round the window is stuffed with
    rags....

    Is that true?

I'd rather not. It was more asking because if I ever did want to do
that, I'd want to make sure it worked rather than make a laughing stock
    of myself.

    I haven't lost my mind, it's

    that's around here somewhere.

I've emailed telling him I'm not bothered if he doesn't have the time to
postg the bits, but just to get in touch to confirm he's ok....

    Nada.

It's a nice offer. Do we know you though? Don't want to reveal Simes address
ton someone I don't know, especially if his house is empty. Sorry to be
mistrustful, but I'm sure you understand.

Can someone I know vouch for phatso please?

Shit: you're so full of it, it's not surprising it often comes out of your
    mouth when you open it.

    property.

He'd have trouble suffocating in a TR7 convertible, even though it's
pre-cat, it's leakier than a sieve with extra holes in. ;-)

Yeah, I used to enjoy the Chumbas way back when they did gigs upstairs in
    the Cardigan Arms.

The Kaiser Chiefs played Brudenell social club last night for their local
following. I've been promised some complimentaries for the Met next week.

Are they paying anything to XTC? IMO they should, they sound just
    like them.
