Has anyone got a workshop manual (Haynes, Clymer or factory) that covers
a 1974 Honda PF50 moped, that they would be prepared to lend, give or
    sell to me?

Yeah, yeah it's a "make it run, pur-leeees.." thing.

It could make all the difference in the "greatest total horsepower in
    the garage", eh?

I am familiar with them....... they tend to burn the exhaust valve out.

There's a few parts books up for grabs on ebay. I know it's not a proper
manual like, but you do get an exploded view for taking
    apart/rebuilding/ordering bits.

    Which is better than nowt.

    Yes.

The Haynes BoL is in the NACC library. E-mail an address to me at
    library -hodmedod- buzzing -dot- org
if you'd like to borrow it.
