Word Status Bar

    The status bar on my copy of Word 2003 has gone walkabout, so has the
    slidey things at the side.

    How do I get the little fuckers back?

    Tools > Options > View > check the appropriate tick boxes in the
    "show" sectin".

    Seriously, status bar should be set under Tools-Options-View.
    Not sure what you mean by slidey things - scrollbars? - but they're
    probably set on or off in the same place.
