  1. Oh. How the hell do people notice things like that? I mean, it still
gets sorted correctly, doesn't it? My little clock in the corner was
right, and that's all I ever notice.

<goes off to check other machines>

  2. It's not that I'm a timekeeping fanatic - it's just that Agent (and
other newsreaders, I suppose) bung your post down at the bottom of the
list and leave other posts in a gap above.

It doesn't do that here. What way are you sorting messages?

Our coppers have the BMWs too and one of them had the same accident. It
pitched him over the center divider of the motorway and into oncoming
traffic. Lucky for him he didn't get run over.

muddycat bored us all completely to death with wittery prose along the
    lines of:
If my BiL had been pitched over the divider, he'd have gone cliff
    surfing.

  14. Well, "se llama" = is called. No need for the "es". Changing the 'a' to
an 'e', I believe makes it into a subjunctive ie; he may or may not be
known as blah blah. I think perhaps you knew this...

I expected BOTAFOT members to be some sort of rude macho bikers, not
"locazas" [1]. I'll have to look for moustaches and hairy breasts
somewhere else, may be not too far: could you describe yourself
according to the URL below? [2]

    [1] Drag queens, Spanish slang.
[2] Just joking... I couldn't sleep with someone claiming to be faster
    than me on a bike.

Er, you mean in es.charla.moteros? Can't remember a Javi, too generic,
    donn't remember any *lacoste.

  19. Oh the wonderful spanish naming convention. A woman asked me a while
back "Do you know Pepe?". Half the village is called Pepe and the other
    half Paco. I said yes.

Anyway, he's a bike copper in the Guardia Civil, based in Jaca. He, er,
tried to post to ukrm ages ago, using bablefish as a translator, which
    spectacularly failed.
