No, not turtles. Yesterday I saw a black squirrel. At the time I
thought it was probably just an isolated genetic aberration - the
opposite of an albino but probably just as rare. However, after a bit
of research I have found out that they are becoming more common and
that they tend to be bigger and more aggressive than their grey
counterparts. Apparently the males have higher levels of testosterone
than ordinary greys. Who knows where it may end? Instead of running
off when encountering humans it could be a case of "Oi! - who are you
    lookin at.."

"Sex selection is also boosting their numbers because female greys
appear to prefer them as mates."

Perhaps they have successfully propagated the cock size myth, like humans?

"Once you've tried black, you never look back"

Mind you, I've tried propogating "Once you've tried grey, you never
stray", with, it has to be said, only limited success.

  12. You could always import drop-bears from Oz to keep them in check.
