Woodland Alliance (low level bombing division)

I had what was probably the most bizarre incident in my motorcycling
life this morning. Toodling along the A424 from Burford, I spotted a
large bird lift off from the verge ahead & fly towards me. It was
several feet above my head level as I approached it, and then it
dropped something which slammed into my visor.

I instinctively shut my eyes as it hit, then opened them to see a mouse
staring back at me. The wind pressure kept it stuck to my visor for a
second or so, then it blew off over the top of my helmet. Fair freaked
me out it did.

 

Perhaps you'd disturbed the bird, and it was consequently a bit ratty.

 

hehe, I was headbutted by a bat one evening last year. LOUD bang, not
much left of bat. Yuk.

Thank **** it _wasn't_ a tortoise. The comedy value would've been
excellent, but I'm not sure I would've lived to tell the tale.

 

Imagine what the story sounds like when the mouse tells it.
