"police found the remains of pudding"

that's fucking made my day. Though it would have been mildly better if
    it had been porridge.

either or. As long as it was tuned to Open Dsus4[1].

[1] hey, WUN - this is me being an auto-parody again, though I wonder
if any of you'll get it...

googling "Open Dsus4" gives the answer in the 8th hit, so admittedly
    it's a bit weak.

It only struck a chord (hah!) with me, 'cos when I was last in a band
we did a cover of "Kashmir" and it was the only track that I played
guitar (rather than bass or keyboards) and I remember the tuning.

    well, two things:

firstly, in the 80s, me and my mates used to listen to everything from
Zep, Foetus, Cocteau Twins, SLF, Cockney Rebel, Swans, Beastie Boys,
Joy Division/New Order, house/techno, Dead Kennedys, Loudness,
    *whatever* ; basically almost anything.

I distinctly remember one very confused evening at my friend Marc's
place when I took out the first disc from "Physical Graffiti", put it
on his stereo, and was somewhat taken back when Sister Sledge's "Lost
    in Music" played.

secondly, the band was composed of a weird bunch; me for a start. The
nominally lead guitarest was a KISS completest, the drummer was a
Damned fanatic and the singer was basically a gay disco mentalist.

We were only in a recording studio once, and only played a couple of
gigs. Our set list included the aforementioned "Kashmir", plus a sort
of punk version of Lipps Inc's "Funky Town" and a grotesque of
Boston's "More than a feeling" done with me playing Level 42 style
    slap-bass.

hah - I've just remembered (suppressed memory syndrome), we did a
    cover of this:

which was my only go on lead vocals.

    ****, it was shit!
